Description
From a distance, the Delta Food Mart Sign promises food and beverages from seven in the morning to midnight. As travelers on the Richardson Highway soon learn, the convenience store has been closed for many years. The building and signs are overgrown. The store which once welcomed the hungry or thirsty visitor now bears a large Keep Out sign. A closer look shows the log construction under the bright yellow facade. The store has been closed for over twenty years, despite its colorful soda advertisement.
