Description
A heavy layer of ice coats the tanner crab pots stacked on the deck of the commercial fishing boat Erica Ann. The boat had just returned to the Don Statter Harbor in Auke Bay following a run up the back side of Douglas Island. The boat and crew had spent two days in Taku Harbor, waiting for a lull in the weather. Freezing spray covered the decks and gear with a heavy coat of ice.
