Description
I recently had the opportunity to take my camera to a farm operated by friends here in Delta Junction, Alaska. While I spent most of my time photographing the calves, I also found a few other scenes which struck my fancy. Here, one of the farm dogs leads an old John Deere tractor across the field. While agriculture may not come to mind when you think of Alaskan occupations, the fertile Tanana Valley boasts many working farms.
