Description
The National Shrine of St. Therese includes a small Catholic church built on an island near Juneau, Alaska. A causeway now connects the island to the mainland. The church was built in 1938 using stone from the beach. It remains in use today. It is open to the public during the day, and is a popular destination for both tourists and locals.
