Description
he University of Alaska Museum of the North is located on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus. Exhibits include natural history, wildlife, and Alaska Native cultures. Popular exhibits include Otto, an eight-foot nine-inch brown bear mounted in an upright pose.otto has greeted visitors to three different museum locations on the campus since I first met him as a child. Other exhibits include a wooly mammoth skull and tusks, whale bones, Native boats, and even a dinosaur exhibit.
