Description
On a hot summer day in Juneau, Alaska, the flowers were in full bloom at the Jensen-Olsen Arboretum. The arboretum is a land trust managed by the City and Borough of Juneau. Hot is a relative term, of course. It was around 80 degrees Fahrenheit on this sunny August afternoon. In the background you see the calm waters of Favorite Channel, and the small island which is home to the Shrine of St. Therese.
