Description
Spring is only now arriving in the north land. This involves lots of ugly, melting snow. Until the great outdoors is a bit more photogenic, I am shooting lots of still life photos with whatever strikes my fancy. The background is acrylic sponge painting over old dictionary pages, with old sheet music at the bottom. I have added a vintage post card to the canvas as well. The card reads Gedenke Mein, loosely translated toRemember Me. Objects forming the still life include a vintage cross, skeleton key, and lock plate. The still life is completed by the addition of vintage jewelry findings and a large white snail shell collected on the beach in Juneau, Alaska.
