Description
Birch Lake is located along the Richardson Highway between Delta Junction and Fairbanks. On this glorious June afternoon, the rise and other wildflowers were in full bloom near the water's edge. The lake is a popular recreational destination in Interior Alaska, It is stocked with Arctic char, Arctic grayling, Chinook salmon, coho salmon, and rainbow trout. Fishing is a year round activity at Birch Lake, with ice fishing huts popping up during the winter months.
