Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

The Rainforest Trail loops through the temperate rainforest at the north end of Douglas Island, simply called North Douglas by the locals. This section of the trail consists of a narrow plank walkway. Be careful, as it can be slippery when wet. Here, the bright green understory contrasts beautifully with the tall, mossy tree trunks in the background. In the center, a fallen tree provides nutrients for the surrounding plant life. This is a favorite trail in all seasons.
I am a long-time Alaskan, having lived here since 1970. I am retired from state service, after working for the Alaska Department of Corrections for twenty years. In my spare time, I take pictures. I have enjoyed photography since junior high, and I have an extensive photo library. I am working to turn my pictures into an income source to supplement my retirement. My photos include landscapes, nature photos, and abstracts. I have a particular fondness for shooting abandoned places or objects. Subjects range from Southeast Alaska to Interior Alaska, and the stretch of Canada in between. I retain the rights to all images I have posted here.
