Description
In June of 2023, I had the opportunity to drive from my home in Interior Alaska to Haines in Southeast Alaska. This ten-hour drive includes many miles in Canada, first on the Alaska Highway, then onto the Haines Highway. This is the view from the Alaska Highway somewhere in Canada’s Yukon Territory. The blackened trees are a healing burn scar.
