Description
This image was taken on September 10 at the Georgeson Botanical Garden at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. While many communities in Interior Alaska experienced hard frost in August, Fairbanks was largely spared and the gardens were in full bloom, while the trees displayed their autumn finery.
